As a photojournalistic wedding photographer, it’s my job to tell the story of your day through beautiful, candid images. One bride pointed out that she would be spending more time with me than with her husband on the day of her wedding - that’s a lot of time to spend with someone you’re not in love with – especially over the course of such an intimate, emotional and sometimes stressful day. That’s why I take a photojournalistic approach, staying out of your way while capturing beautiful, spontaneous moments and allowing you to enjoy your day to the fullest.
Being relaxed and comfortable with your photographer is not only key for getting great images, but is key for you to enjoy the day you’ve worked so hard to plan. Every image I shoot (outside of the portrait session) is unposed and unplanned. I respect your space and will never step in to pose you or ask you to recreate a moment – it’s my job to capture them as they naturally occur and it’s your job to enjoy the celebration!
